I'm used to the flip case so it takes a little getting used to. it has several grades of incline but is not as flat as the Flip. I bought it because of the overall cat design. It fits my 2017 iPad well and leaves room for the volume buttons. My last case partially covered one and it was driving me nuts as the sound cut out every time I opened it to use. For a long time I thought there was something wrong with the iPad itself. I like him a lot so far.
