Unfortunately, our 15-year-old "rescue cat" was diagnosed with diabetes. He peed so many times, drank water all day and even jumped in the sink to lick the water off. I have used Tidy Cats clay litter and cleaned the litter box a thousand times a day. I searched on Revain and found this system. Our cat got used to the new box and litter without any problems. I followed a few tips from the comments here. At first I had to change the pads every two days. We are giving our cat daily insulin shots and I am happy to report that she is practically back to normal. No more drinking all day or excessive urination. I now have up to 4 days before I change my pad. The recommendation on the sachet is to change the pads once a week and the granules once a month. I found that Revain had packs of 10 scented pods as well as 7 pound bags of granules which local stores don't have. And much more economical! Even if our cat wasn't diabetic, I would buy this system. I highly recommend it!
