I ordered a 2mm 18 gauge gemstone. However, there are some things I like and dislike. This has nothing to do with the seller. I like the quality, the color choices, they are durable and well made. All stones were intact and not hanging out. Ruifan is definitely one of the best sellers when it comes to jewelry quality. I also like the fact that they are quite snug and don't twist to the point where you can see the end out of my nostril. I've never had to deal with that. Let me put it this way: 18 gauge is not a standard 18 gauge. They are slightly larger than regular 18 gauge, but that doesn't cause any discomfort when putting them on or wearing them. As for the size of the gems. Obviously anything under 2mm is very small. I wanted a bigger gem than the mic used to pierce my nose so I assumed 2mm would be the perfect size as Ibwas put me down to 2.5mm thinking it was too big. .After they reach 2mm they are quite small. You can see them, but they're almost micro-sized. So I would like to switch to 2.5mm or 3mm. So if you're looking for something more than micro, something flashy but not over the top, go for the 2mm and you'll be fine. Are you looking for something flashier, I'd say 2.5mm or 3mm.
