Perfect fit! No complaints, nothing special. No more expensive than OEM. Just install and done. Just note that you have two routes, but let me tell you what I did. 1 - factory route. 3i that didn't come with factory fog lights (and instead had covers) have seat belts that attach to the trunk. You see, all the first generation Mazda3 are equipped with fog lights. If you want to go that route, you need to connect the wire harness to these fog lights, easy as pie. Then you need to buy a turn signal switch programmed to control the fog lights. The wiring harness extends to the steering wheel and is activated on models with fog lights. I bought this one and it works, looks and feels completely OEM. Or you can just pick it up from the landfill for next to nothing. Pull out your old fog-free turn signal stem, plug in the new one and voila. REMEMBER - Mazda has stipulated that you can only turn on the fog lights when the headlights are on. headlights off? Fog lights don't come on. 2 - Independent Route This fog light kit is not OEM, so it comes with its own wiring harness and switch. If you want you can hook it up to a fog light and either you or a professional can hook it up to a battery or fuse and then run the switch through your firewall* or schematic through the fender and into your door* and into the car. This way you can control/switch on the fog lights at any time with the included switch. Special! My fog lights are yellow when I upload a picture. I didn't use the included bulbs and used the yellow LED bulbs instead. This one in particular. They work great, ARE FOG LIGHTS (they also light up the bottom and sides like fog lights are supposed to, not like headlights or diffuse beams) and I really only use them in fog or when I'm driving somewhere after dark and I need to spot potholes. (short). They fit perfectly in this fog light housing and with my stiff AF hanger they haven't loosened or anything and it's been almost 3 months now. Oh, and the lens isn't cloudy, foggy, or anything lame. It is sealed very well, also on the back. I drove through high floods (again for me because my car is low) and no water entered the lens. Please note that I do not have an underbody cover on the front of the car. All in all it's great! Look no further, just get them and rejoice because you have made the best Fog Light buy! PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE ONLY SUITABLE FOR MAZDA3 FIRST GENERATION 2004-2006. With i bumper, NOT with S bumper! NO square facelift bumper! I will upload an image for reference.
