This is a full size iron that is 12 inches long. It comes with a silicone case, so maybe it's the travel part? Definitely this iron is one of the best I've ever used and I've used them all. I have fine, somewhat straight hair, but there's a lot of it, and I use a flat iron to get rid of those little waves that are natural in my hair. This adds the perfect amount of polish. It's easy to use. On-off switch, easy to adjust up or down to set the temperature, and it heats up quickly. The cord is on a swivel and is about 9 feet long. The silicone case is very convenient for storage. It also comes with a flat brush, two combs and 4 clips for parting hair. I really like how easy it is to use.
