I recently ordered two boxes, so a total of four strings. All worked when I first turned them on to set the mode I wanted. It took several hours to install them as I wove them thru lattice work on a gazebo. All the solar panels got the same amount of sunshine all day long, but when it got dark I discovered that one string was not working. Trying to "trouble shoot" it per the instructions did not help. The lights that did work were beautiful--Very bright despite their tiny size. (I got multi) Because they come in a box of two I contacted the company about the one string that did not work, rather than returning them to ebay. The company was wonderful to deal with. Communication with them was excellent and they sent out a replacement box right away. (although only one string was defective they sent me a box with two strings which was very nice of them) The replacement lights work great and now I have lots of colorful solar lights on my gazebo. I am very pleased with how they look and how long they stay on at night. There are a lot of solar lights to choose from, and I am very glad I got these. Highly recommend.
