I bought this because of the many great reviews, but unfortunately I have to agree.

Just OK. I bought it because of the many good reviews, but unfortunately I have to agree with the negative reviews. The glitter really gets lost in the color. Forget what you think about adding a bag of this to a gallon of paint. You'll never see But what if you want to cover a large area, e.g. E.g. an entire wall? You'll need more bags than you ever thought possible. And at $25 a bag you are now looking at a very expensive project. I ended up using HALF the bag for the amount of paint on paper plates. I just wanted to cover ONE shelf. If you're not at a certain angle it's not too noticeable, and if you're not careful you won't notice it at all. Mixing glitter with paint made the paint almost pasty in consistency. Just keep blending with the brush until smooth and blended. Clear glitter makes the paint thick, so spread it out quickly. I don't see how a roller can be used with this material, it comes out in streaks as you can see in the photos in bare spots. I had to go over the spots a few times to get a reasonably even distribution of the glitter. A little disappointed as I needed a really shiny shelf with a pop accent. I took the champagne color as a reference and mixed it with Benjamin Moore's matte gray color. ** Well I slept on it and checked how it looks this morning. Doesn't look bad, I like it a lot. Just be aware that this color takes a little effort to spread evenly and you will need a lot for the effect, but don't give up!
