I would love it but the size is actually smaller than advertised. If you look at the photo, there is a loop on the front. Why am I missing it? It can't be a pen, it's just one, on the front. Size can make all the difference if, like me, you're trying to fit this into a small chest freezer. Here are the exact dimensions. Outer diameter see photo. front to back (minus loop) 12 1/2" with loop, 13 3/4" with loop. Side to side is 11 9/16 inches. Depth is 7 7/8 inches. internal dimensions. top, 11 7/8 front to back, side 10 15/16", they are within 1/32". The interior height is 7 7/8 inches. If you count the thicker wire that wraps around the top, that adds another 1/16 inch. y side to side is 9 13/16" and 7 5/8" from the wire to the tip of the thicker wire. I really could have used something bigger to make better use of the freezer's size. Without an accurate set of sizes, it's impossible to make an informed purchasing decision. By the way, as someone answered my question, the mesh size is 7/8 inch. As for appearance, it looks good, satin, nickel. The wires wrap around the thicker, top support wire and are quite sharp and pointing down. You are outside the basket. No big deal, just be aware.
