Bought these for my nieces aged 4 and 8 and they hold up perfectly on their nails. You can add a coat of clear coat to keep them going for about a week but I put them on without them and they have withstood pool play and 2 showers. Before. They both started scraping them off themselves lol which came off without breaking into pieces :) They fit my 4 year old niece perfectly in her nail, edge to edge. My 8 year old niece had them in her nails so I recommend painting your nails the same color as the adhesive backing before applying to help them match and look more natural. But the girls were happy and I'm surprised at how cheap they are and how well they hold up. One more thing, removing them from the paper they come in requires patience. Use something really thin and flat, like tweezers, and gently squeeze and lift one end. It took me about 6 or 7 small nudges and lifts and a little side-to-side positioning to pry it from the backing paper. Just be patient and work slowly.
