Better light output, good color, expensive but worth it.

Good. I know what everyone says, a lightbulb is a lightbulb. But as with various other lighting technologies, how the light is produced can make a big difference. I believe that with HID bulbs it's the minerals that are in the capsule. I had a MUCH cheaper set of D1S bulbs in my 2013 BMW x5 e70 35i with adaptive steering and compared to my original bulbs the color was good. They were lighter at first, but after just a year I started noticing fading and discoloration. It COULD be 100 hours of use, maybe even less. I rarely drive at night, unless it's winter time when the night starts at 4:30pm some days. I decided to get her. They're more neutral white than others I've had, but the BIGGEST difference was in the output to the periphery. The location where the bulb burns and the amount of minerals that bulb contains compared to my $40 bulbs was dramatic. I no longer need fog lights to fill the sides. And the circumcision is much nicer. I could have shown pictures but my phone had a low battery so I had to skip. In short, if you are looking for a good lightbulb, something new is better than old lightbulbs, but if you want a better and brighter light. brighter, then try it out. Even if they only last 3 years, it's as much as three cheap pairs and saves you time and acrobatic movements keep lightbulbs burning.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Very expensive
