I bought it in a store about 2 years ago and have regretted it ever since. The patterned outer fabric itself feels very cold, but that's the only cooling part. Once you cover it with a sheet, the cooling aspect isn't even felt, defeating the purpose. I wondered why I was sweating so profusely the first night I slept on this new mattress. Find out that there is a non-breathable vinyl cover on the bottom that protects your mattress from moisture. It does its job but be prepared for it to get hotter at night. For the money I was expecting it to stay chilled all night or at least "temperature controlled" as stated on the packaging. Honestly, a $20 mattress topper can keep you cool. It is easy to wash but very difficult when wet. The light green sides become visible under the white and pastel colors of the leaf. It doesn't slip, which is a plus, but it's difficult to climb onto your mattress due to the tight stretch of the elastic. I would return many years ago if given the chance and can't bring myself to throw out a $200 item.
