Good for beginners, but watch YouTube videos on how to install ink cartridges.
Crap Instructions. The pen has an extra element that you don't need with ink cartridges (the manual doesn't mention this). But save this piece as you can use it for future inks. It takes more than an hour (almost all day) for the ink to drain deep enough to be used without the ink stopping. I got this as a practice kit and it works for that. I don't really think it's good for everyday or essential writing use. But maybe you are more advanced than me with this type of pens.
