Review on πŸ–₯️ Enhance Your Workspace with VIVO Height Adjustable Monitor Arm - Single Counterbalance Desk Mount for Screens up to 27 inches by Sam Davenport

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy and inexpensive access to adjustable arms. Lay cables before installation!

So I ended my review with cable management but the advice seemed more important to me than the review itself. In summary: ROUT THE CABLES BEFORE INSTALLING ANYTHING. The cable management is functional but not elegant: you have to unscrew the plastic part, route the cables and screw them back on. They have a cable management system as one of the last steps in the guide, but it's MUCH FASTER if you manage the cables before you actually install anything. To save yourself stress, run cables for everything your monitor supports, even when you don't need it. If your monitor has USB ports for power or a hub, buy USB extension cables (similar to a power extension cord) - this way you can neatly route the cable and connect it elsewhere instead of having to mess with cables later. Same goes for display cables etc - just be proactive and route cables at top speed/level prior to installation for a tidy look. Rest of the review: It was very easy to install. I opted for the "clamp" installation. One thing I need to be aware of as I have only found limited information, my desk requires that I mount a monitor on the SIDE of the desk. It is not possible to put it on the back of the table due to the design (something like a small secretary style design). The arm works great for my use. It's very flexible and you can see how well it flexes. Everything is fine with the stability. I mostly leave mine static, only moving them to switch to a laptop for video calls. If I was tossing my monitor around all day, I would definitely buy the premium version. This is GREAT for people like me who need easy cable management and a fairly stable/normal position for their screen. For the short-term work from home that we are all facing right now, I am very happy about the money. I combine this with a Pixio PX275h and the weight/size works great. I think if it was a smaller monitor it could be more stable as it takes a lot of effort every time I adjust it but it stays where it is and that's all I care about.
