I read most of the reviews before deciding to buy this band. I've read some that listed breakage issues after 6 months but seeing the same comments on almost all other similar watch straps I decided to ignore them and give the brand a try. I've also read about problems when the bracelet size isn't fine-tuned (you can only remove whole links). I decided to take a chance that my wrist would fit just fine with linkage adjustments. Otherwise I would have to leave it in an Amazon locker across from my work. Disclosure: This review was written after only having it installed for about 20 minutes. So anything to do with durability is just speculation. Fitment: The initial fit of the Galaxy 46mm was perfect. Are the curved lugs nearly perfect for the watch's "connection point"? (What is this part of the clock called?). I had a little problem because on one side the pin just wouldn't go in the watch hole. I just had to keep pushing and wiggling it a bit, inserting the pin into the hole until it finally popped out. When he entered the fit was perfect, there was no gap between the strap and the watch. Since I chose this strap mainly because of review of the hard material fittings and a desire to bridge the gap between strap and watch, I'm not afraid to put some effort into assembly to get a snug fit. The link remover worked fine. The pin you screw in was a little "wobbly" so it was a bit finicky, but worked well and I was able to remove three links (I got this one at a time) in just a few minutes. was perfect. I was concerned that without holes for fine adjustment it might be either too tight or too loose. Maybe the link width is small enough to fit everyone, or I'm just lucky that it fits right. I would like the manufacturer to make a pair of 1.4x, 1.0x, 0.7x links instead of fine adjustment holes. They can change in length as you get closer to the clasp and this allows you to remove longer or shorter lengths until you get the right fit. While I understand that while this sounds good to me, others may not like the resulting look of different sized links. In terms of durability, I noticed that when removing the links, some pins were tighter and others were looser (less force to push out). . I suspect there might be a quality control issue with the thickness of the pins. As a result, looser ones can fall out over time, leading to what some reviews have shown. Aside from that, I save all the contacts for the links I've deleted to use as backups in case contacts fail over time. I'm also a little worried about how the metal will hold up to scratches, but I think that would be the case for any metal band tying this one. single connection. I've had inch length strap closures before and I just don't like the style. I also like the double button opening on the closure. Thought I wouldn't like the extra weight of the strap after having Samsung's lightweight rubber strap. However, the weight around the wrist balances the weight of the watch. Time will tell if I really like it more than the elastic (in terms of comfort), but it's certainly not the issue I thought it would be. Summary and Stars: I took off a star for durability because I couldn't fine-tune it and observed that some pins have quite a bit of resistance to link pull-out. Since I haven't had a fall yet (20 minutes again) and because it fits my wrist perfectly, I'm giving it 5 stars overall (for now). Overall first experience is that apart from what has been mentioned it fits great, looks great and feels very durable.
