I use it for two security cameras in front of my house. These are simple analog wired cameras connected to two AV ports (AV1 and AV2) on a monitor. I switch between cameras by pressing a button on the remote control. The color image is of excellent quality and also works at night when the cameras switch to night vision mode. I wish I could go the next size up, but it gives me more desk space. I have 1 major complaint. That F$%#ING BEEP every time you press the button! There is no easy way to suppress this feature. It was less than 10 minutes out of the box before I removed the backing and cut the trace to the beeper. (If you look at the BACK of the monitor, it's on the top left of the circuit board.) Now it works as it should! If I wanted to change any setting (like the contrast) from 50 to 75, I had to press the button 25 times and that damn beep would wake everyone in the house! Here's an idea. Add a software switch to the menu of the next firmware version! Also, it works great and I've already shown it to a few friends.
