I bought them first according to the size chart because I gained a little weight. I measured myself correctly and decided that 7 would be better. After 3 purchases and 2 returns I got a size 1 these pants are so cute! My only complaint is that the high waist is the same width as the hips. In my experience with pants, for women's high-waisted pants, the waist should be smaller than the hips to better fit the figure. Also, these pants are very long, don't let the picture fool you, I have to roll them up twice to be higher than the boot.
