I'm an amateur photographer looking for an inexpensive lens to add to my arsenal. I have ef 14mm f2.8, rf 35mm f1.8, 50 f1.8 nad, now medium tele for a different angle. I saw some reviews and considered whether I should spend twice as much on a Samyang/Rokinon 85mm f1.4 or this one and decided to stick with this one and put the rest of the money into a proper f2.8 variable zoom in the future to invest. The lens arrived neatly packaged and the first impression is strong, the autofocus is quiet and almost too quiet. Canon doesn't allow third party lenses and some EF lenses to use all focus points, but Eye AF and AF are still very effective and don't find a way to distinguish them between EF lenses. A very good beat on the dollar.
