I tried several other gaming laptops before settling on this one simply because it excels in important areas. It doesn't have an RGB keyboard, but it does have a backlight, and that's all that really matters. The screen isn't the best, but it's good. Most importantly, it runs very cool and quiet even when the GPU is stressed. Whatever Lenovo has done for thermal management, this is a clear winner. The closest competitor in this space was the ASUS TUF gaming laptop, which was also fairly quiet but not as good as this Lenovo. Battery life is average, but most of the time it's plugged in while in use, so it's not a big deal. Overall, having a GTX 1660 Ti on board offers excellent value for money.
