I have a mid 2015 27" iMac and a second monitor of the same size. I bought 2 of these risers and they are very strong and installation was a breeze. Comes with silicone pads for the underside of the sides to protect your table. They are perfect for my needs. Things to note: - From the table to the bottom of the riser is 5 7/8 inches with silicone grommets. - It's not slim/flat. It's a big rectangle. There are 4 inches plus on all sides of my iMac base. So if you have a small desk/corner, be sure to measure correctly. - There is a support bar in the middle of the bottom as others have mentioned. I think someone has already shown how to move this to one side or the other. Once assembled I think it's just as strong with or without that crossbar in the middle - I like it for the extra strength but for those looking to store consoles this one is worth buying. +Jimmy Rigg.
