Does a better job than I expected for the price. The center support bar under the cover got in the way of my devices so I drilled 4 new holes and moved them to the back edge. The hardest part of moving the rod was getting the two threaded plastic inserts out so I could move them into the new holes I had drilled. I have a mid 2015 27" iMac and a second monitor of the same size. I bought 2 of these risers and they are very strong and installation was a breeze. Comes with silicone pads for the underside of the sides to protect your table. They are perfect for my needs. Things to note: - From the table to the bottom of the riser is 5 7/8 inches with silicone grommets. - It's not slim/flat. It's a big rectangle. There are 4 inches plus on all sides of my iMac base. I wasn't sure if I was going to get a skinny piece of scrap or a solid piece and I got a whole piece. The only thing I don't understand about this product is how I should attach the center support piece. The instructions show you how to install the hardware, but if you attach the hardware and support to the sides, you cannot attach it to the top. The same thing happens in reverse if you attach it to the top first - you can't get the hardware on the sides. I just slide the piece in and it rests…

I went through most of the assembly and noticed that the dowel holes in the support bar and "legs" weren't deep enough. The only way to make them deeper is to use a drill. I have a good one, but I don't use it very well, so I'm worried I won't center it properly or make it too deep. If I do that, I can't return it. The instructions don't mention using glue that came with the fittings. Logic will tell you whether to use it on wooden dowels, but only on one end of the dowel, or both? If I poke it

What a beautiful addition to the entertainment center! We've upgraded to a new 42" Vizio flat screen, but our existing wall unit was made for one of those big ol' 38" monsters. With the Vizio in the same room, however, it felt like the TV was almost on the floor. Rising 5 1/2 inches from the riser, the TV looks perfect.
