Review on Convenience Concepts Designs2Go Small πŸ–₯️ TV/Monitor Riser in Sleek Black Finish by Oscar Rhodes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for our closet.

What a beautiful addition to the entertainment center! We've upgraded to a new 42" Vizio flat screen, but our existing wall unit was made for one of those big ol' 38" monsters. With the Vizio in the same room, however, it felt like the TV was almost on the floor. Rising 5 1/2 inches from the riser, the TV looks perfect. We're still amazed at the difference a small lift has really made to the 'convenience' of television. This slight elevation now allows us to sit with our head in a more neutral position, rather than looking down. Much more convenient. Measuring the device is exactly as they explain in the description. Light pine looks very nice, but it is NOT made of light pine. It is made from regular pressed cardboard or similar material with a veneer outer layer. If it ever gets a deep scratch or stain, you can't just sand and polish it. I still give it 5 stars. Once the riser was in place, it looked like it was an existing part of our wall unit. You see this is "complement". A month later we don't even notice it anymore. Perfect. What you will get is one large flat box fill. d with all pre-cut and drilled boards and all necessary hardware. All you need is a screwdriver. Hardware includes cam locks that you see in other DIY furniture and pins for locking cams. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Before I bought the device I read a few reviews about a riser that has a strut that runs down the bottom. Yes, there is a support plate running along the bottom, but it looks the same as the rest of the device so you can't "see" it at all. I have 2 stacks of Blu-ray discs in holders in front of them so you couldn't see them even if they didn't fit together. The TV has been on the device for about a month and does not sag. general. I'm not exactly sure about the weight of our 42" Vizio, but it doesn't seem to affect the riser. I think the annoying support bar does its job. If I notice it sagging in the middle from the weight, I will I update my rating.
