My table was getting scratched by our plates so we needed a cover immediately. I like the natural look of our table and didn’t want to cover it. I also like the minimal look so I didn’t want any table mats.You can see in the first pic the area where I tried to fix the ripples (I used used a damp towel and iron to try to flatten it) it didn’t really work. It worked in some spots and not others. I also feel like it changed the finishing of the plastic so I didn’t continue ironing it.I cut it to size of our oval table. It was easy to cut.The cover is NOT heat resistant. I put my mug of coffee on there and it wasn’t even that hot. It left a mark IMMEDIATELY. what a shame. (Shown in last pic)This was $90. I don’t think it was worth it at all. I can’t even return it cause I already cut it to size. This will probably only last a year or less since it’ll have heat marks all over it.
