Great case for my new RCA I bought. It can be used when connected to the keyboard, or just with a tablet inside. I knew it was a faux leather case, not hard plastic, that it wouldn't provide adequate drop protection, but my last RCA tablet with a detachable keyboard was pretty good. durable and lasted 3 years with numerous accidental falls. It prevents screen scratches and softens your tablet when you accidentally drop it. But the tablet itself is pretty solid! I feel like the way the tablet is made out of hard plastic gives it more protection than a case. And while it's hard if you leave your keyboard plugged in and flip the screen, still add a free hard, durable case. The product itself looks great, much better than a single tablet/laptop without a case. The durability and feel of the case is excellent. I have no doubt that the case will NOT fall apart and will last the life of the tablet. There is an elastic band so the bag stays closed when closed. Unfortunately, there aren't many cases to choose from for this RCA tablet model. If you are not looking for a hard case for construction work, this case is your best choice. And for the price, it's a good accessory for your RCA, not just for vanity, but for minimal protection. I recommend this case for your RCA tablet over other cases available. Thank you Joseph P
