In overall, the model is satisfactory, and both the picture quality and the sound are of a very high caliber. It is possible to advocate the purchase of it, but before you do so, you should consider where the sound will be output. You may, of course, send it to a television (although this is an extreme situation, and you will lose a lot), a receiver with acoustics, or a home theater.

Pros
  • Compact, able to read a wide variety of codecs, and able to emit audio through HDMI (when connected to a home theater, receiver, or acoustically on the move). As soon as it was connected to the television, the Dolby Vision emblem appeared on the screen.
Cons
  • 1. It is difficult (and has been for a long time) to start movies from the home network (at least by WiFi, at least via wire), in contrast to the television, which starts practically instantly and has almost no delay. The song begins off as usual. 2. Does not support wifi on the 5GHz frequency. 3. a limited selection of applications (certainly not developed for the year 2022), of which I only make use of YouTube; although it's possible that someone else uses Netflix, I refuse to pay such a horse price. Since there is no app store in the traditional sense, it is not clear where one can obtain the applications. 4. When I'm watching something, I find that controlling it with the remote isn't particularly convenient for me.

Because you can't come close to the performance of pioneer and oppo players for the price, I decided to make 4K Blu-ray movies with HDR and Atmos my primary player and paired them with a Marantz 6013/11.2 receiver. With its positives being: If you are interested in the original photos of Blu-ray 4K movies, this product is ideal for the price. I did a decent job loading the prefix; it read big photos without any problems and displayed even the most active scenes without any hiccups. There was no

I am satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

The device had a universal player for 4K content, so I carried it with me. If it weren't for the problems with the MKV and the E-AC3, it's likely that the purchase could be regarded as a successful one. Got pros: Plays 4K discs and includes built-in support for the increasingly popular Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio formats. Netflix content can be watched and listened to with acceptable quality. Plays high-resolution video files via a network and accepts input from USB. Compact. Got cons…

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

In the days before the Internet, I have two boxes full of DVDs and MP3 discs left over. I used to watch and listen to them on a computer, but I recently set together a theater for the purpose of doing so. They function properly when read from a laptop drive; however, the laptop only produces stereo output; utilizing a fast computer in conjunction with a modern theater for the sole purpose of watching a film is inefficient; and an older Panasonic player, despite the fact that it consumes…

Pros
  • Consumes a large variety of forms. Old DVDs with a resolution of 4k 55 seem, if not brilliant, then at the very least far better than when viewed from a laptop drive. The quality of these older DVDs is absurd by today's standards. I used the Denon AVR-X1600H receiver to read all of the data from the flash drive, however the receiver was unable to read some of the files. In a word, practical. A variety of environments. Simple maneuvering in practically every direction. Wi-Fi, miracast.
Cons
  • At this pricing point, they could have fabricated a metal housing for the device. The plastic is very thin and fragile. Not familiar with the AVI format. I only read two of the dozen files that were in the folder. However, given the format's antiquated nature, this was to be expected. Indeed, the subtitles are much too large, and unlike on my previous Panasonic, it is not possible to modify the way they seem. The remote control is really too cramped to accommodate this large of a number of buttons. For the hands of a child:) The highly polished panel attracts "fingers" to an extremely high degree. The beam, along with the rest of the body, was given a matte finish. A peculiar collection of programs available on the Internet. There are two of them: the free one is YouTube, and the other is Netflix, which requires payment. What use are they if they are already standard equipment in every single television set? And if you've already fooled people into thinking you have internet content. That way, at the very least, they would have been like Samsung. in order for you to contribute something additional. The projection that should be coming from the screen of my Redmi phone is refusing to work for some reason. On the other hand, this choice is practically never required to be made.

To put it plainly, the platform market is... In general, the PLAYER shop is a *! I mailed the gadget back the next day, but they wouldn't refund my payment. For 9 months, the player was sued. It took a court order to get the money back! generally threw me and left me to deal with the player (Store) alone. If your consumer rights have been abused, you should not be hesitant to take the matter to court and see it through to the finish, as I have. The moral damages were nevertheless paid for, too.

Pros
  • Device of very low quality indeed! if you get what I'm saying.
Cons
  • Many people are unable to access their data because their hard drives have frozen.

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

Have received and successfully configured 4K HDR. When compared to the optically transmitted sound from a TV, the coaxially transmitted sound is vastly superior. In other news, I am as content as a zoo elephant after enjoying a 4K disc of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." In my perspective, the available configuration options are more than adequate for any task. The movie played without any hiccups or freezes, and there were no complaints overall. Everything I need is included, it functions as…

  • Fast and effective in its performance.

I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

Some pros: It typically reads Ultra High Definition Blu-ray - Plays 4K movies from an external hard drive using USB (tested with WD drives of 1 and 4 terabytes). - typically converts multi-channel sound to stereo (if the sound is produced through the television, then there will be no such thing as the surrounding sounds yelling, and the dialogues will be scarcely audible) - DLNA support - support for the HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) codec - a separate HDMI output for just the sound…

With its pros: Great model! Everything works fast, Blu-ray download speed is high, it works just as fast with built-in applications With its cons: I would like to download applications, and perhaps there is not enough screen on the front panel, and the size is not comparable with the brothers

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Satisfied as an elephant, so far there have been no problems or doubts in buying this device. P. S. Hdr 4k 60p plays back at 2.4GHz without problems

Pros
  • Size, no noise, two HDMIs
Cons
  • The taste and color of all felt-tip pens are different))

After a few headaches it was a good buy

I originally had a non-region LG 4K player because it was the cheapest I could find. Well, a month later, there was an electric shock and I died completely. Since my return date had already passed, I had to accept this loss. So I found this Sony which was good because it's the same brand as my 7.2 surround sound receiver. The headache comes from the fact that this is the first time I have ordered a refurbished device and it worked fine until I saw that it is not region free as advertised…

Pros
  • Two HDMI outputs - HDMI cable not included. High Speed HDMI Cable is the only connection that allows you to play Blu-ray in 4K or 1080p with digital surround sound.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great player

I tried the LG UP870 and while it's $150 less (as of March 2018) it's a much better player. two. It's strange that Sony is offering a lower product number with a newer player, but the X700 appears to be the new X800. Region independent - it works fine. DVDs are always region-free, while Blu-rays require you to press colors on the remote (instructions included with the player). and for some time in the future. The only downside of this player is the remote control. It's very cheap and light…

Pros
  • Built-in Wi-Fi With built-in 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz Wi-Fi, no extra cables or wires are required to connect to your home wireless network.
Cons
  • alt

So I finally decided on a BluRay/DVD player without regional restrictions. After checking the available options, I ordered according to the "normal" procedure without acknowledgment of the seller. Revain shipped the item from one of their warehouses. And twice I got a "Standard" US-Canada BluRay/DVD player WITHOUT the Region Free modification. The two units I received from Revain stock only had a small label on the side of the box - both were mislabeled, both did not include the cord that…

Pros
  • Dolby Vision HDR uses dynamic metadata to analyze each scene in compatible video and optimize the brightness of that scene on a compatible display. Dolby Vision support is said to be available via a future firmware update.
Cons
  • Very expensive
