The device had a universal player for 4K content, so I carried it with me. If it weren't for the problems with the MKV and the E-AC3, it's likely that the purchase could be regarded as a successful one. Got pros: Plays 4K discs and includes built-in support for the increasingly popular Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio formats. Netflix content can be watched and listened to with acceptable quality. Plays high-resolution video files via a network and accepts input from USB. Compact. Got cons: Does not support playing E-AC3 audio tracks, which form the foundation of Dolby Atmos, either over the network or through the USB input of the MKV container, which is currently the most common container. Converting to MP4 or TS, which will add dances with tambourines, is required in order for these music to become visible in the playlist. There are now only two streaming apps available, and those are Netflix and YouTube. Not available or installable.
