I've been looking for a phone mount for a long time and decided on this one. After receiving the item and installing it in one of my vents, I found that due to the vent moving, the mount would not hold tight - it would move up and down with the adjustable vent. To fix this problem I installed the mounting clip on the bottom vent where it could use the base of the vent as a support. And boom! It worked. I give it 4 stars because, in addition to the vent fiasco (which is more or less expected), the expandable clip requires two hands to open the clip to allow the phone to fit between the grips. Well, if you don't have a third hand to put the phone in the clip and two others hold it open, it's pretty difficult. I understand that the minimalistic design of the item is probably why the manufacturers decided to remove the lever system, but that's one of the features that make this item unsuitable for me. Overall I am satisfied and recommend it. Once you have this thing installed and managed to mount your phone in there, it will work very well. Just make sure the vent clip is tight, because after a few presses of the home button, the entire clip and the fake one fell out. I tested how hard I could squeeze before this happened and it held up well so I didn't deduct a star for the waste. heh
