I used these staples on a wooden fence. With the clamps, I went with my DeWalt driver and pre-drilled each clamp, manually installed the clamp and clamped the light wire and moved on to the next station. I only have one arm, by the way, so it's going to take you a bit of time, and I landed about every four feet in the wind. Good product.
