Stand weighs more than TVs, seriously! It won't tip over without outside help. It takes a long time to assemble but I'm sure it keeps the cost down. But no worry. Your instructions are some of the BEST I've seen. Really easy to follow. ALL parts, screws, washers, etc. are individually boxed and labeled for EASY identification. The only downside concerns the screw holes in the TV to match the stand. Vertical brackets that attach to the TV are no problem. But then you attach the rest of the stand to the brackets and that part needs to be attached to the TV with 4 more screws. Well, my Toshiba 32" FireTV only has the first 4 holes so I couldn't use the stand. I found another TV stand from the same company, WALI Universal TV Stand. Copy the ASIN B01HE1IVNA number and paste it into Revain search. Easy to assemble (easier), just as strong and stable, but it only needs 4 screw holes on the TV. Oh, and it was $6 less than this one. The legs of the stand are about 14" long and protrude from the back of the TV for about 6" about 4" from the front. From the product photo they look like they protrude much further. Anyway, great coasters, VERY robust, VERY heavy and GREAT prices!
