Super easy to install, fits a phone when oriented landscape and fits a tablet when oriented portrait. Only complaint is that it pops the whole thing off the head rest when you're trying to put in or take out a device that requires you to pull on the grips. But because it's so easy to reinstall, it's not a big deal at all. Great value for the price, would definitely recommend.

This device was super quick to install and it easily adjusts orientation for an iPad or iPhone. The only issues we’ve had with it is trying to attach an iPad. My son who sits in a front facing car seat could not reach his iPad when mounted on this device. We have to move the front seat backward so that he can change the video he is watching. The side clamps are not big enough to hold on to iPads, Android tablets or smart phones with protective cases. I bought this item to hold either my phone or tablet in the car for my toddler to be able to watch movies on long car rides (as an alternative to the expensive TVs installed inside a vehicle). It works OK and serves its purpose, but I did have a few issues with how it fits in the car and how it fits on my tablet. I absolutely love this for my dodge grand caravan. It has great grip and adjustments for different size devices but the only thing I wish it could do is go more to the sides. I was very excited for this product but the stand does not fit the headrest bars of my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I used zip ties to make it work and it works, just frustrating it didn't fit my cars headrest bars.

I bought it to use with my kid's kindle. The Kindle case is too thick for this mount. While it will hold it, it's not very sturdy. The case is just too thick.

Got this for my baby to watch his tablet while on the road, his tablet has a bulky case which didn't fit, so I removed the case and it just keeper popping the tablet out, it would hit my babys ankle to the point he was scared of it, will need to return it
