Bought on sale to match my sscs3 turrets. Before I bought this I used a Micca mb42x-c center channel. Out of the box, he sounded pretty awful compared to Mickey. Booming voices and overemphasized highs make the S sound uncomfortable. After calibrating the room and applying some EQ, the sound is much better. Compared to the micca, the voices are more intelligible at low volumes, but I feel the micca more closely matches the timbre of the real voices. The voices are rougher in the middle range and more extended in the lower male voices than in Mikka. The only reason I got this is because it fits my towers better aesthetically. With a bang, Glimmer does a better job with a more natural sound. But this one has better build quality and a more aggressive, dynamic sound. i will keep it
