They work and do exactly what they're supposed to do: keep fridge/freezers open to keep them dry and mold free. But I kept wondering why the service people who do annual and extended warranty maintenance leave them on the floor? Oh they weren't, those clips provide a gentle latching force to hold the doors open but the traffic on the road is more than they can handle, the doors open then the clips pop out when the doors strike. , throw these clips in all directions. SO. Don't rely on them to hold doors in place on the road, they weren't designed for that. They should pop out when you slam the door with them so you don't damage the fridge. Take them out and properly close the fridge and freezer doors before plugging them in for future maintenance/repair.
