Review on 🧱 120 PCS Magblock Magnetic Blocks, Building Tiles for Kids Toys丨Magnet Toys Set 3D Building Blocks for Toddler Boys and Girls by Brian Batiste

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great range with some room for improvement

To start we have a set of 100 Picasso tiles and my 27 month old loves them (as do I). So I'm hoping to add some variety by purchasing an expansion pack. After a lot of research I wanted a set with cars, windows, doors and especially the less common L-shaped and half-sized rectangular pieces. This set has it all and seems to have great reviews. A few things I would like to mention: 1. They are comparable to Picasso tiles in size and weight. Maybe even **stronger** magnets. But I don't have a system to measure.2. They have sharper edges compared to Picasso tiles. My fingers hurt a little when I play with it.3. You don't come up with magnetic people anymore when you read about it in old reviews. The quantity is still 120 as stated in the product description.4. The half-size rectangular pieces are not perfectly polarized. There's always a way you can try and the two pieces will push each other away. I think this may be because there is only one magnet on the shorter edge. I wonder if two shorter magnets on the short edge will solve the design problem. The colors of these tiles are not very well balanced. Isosceles triangles 8 pieces only green and yellow - a little offensive.6. The container feels nice and is actually quite durable. But I prefer the Picasso system when placed in a box with precise cuts. After all, magnetic tiles have the advantage over Lego that they can be stacked perfectly. The slotted box is tidier, more stackable, and ultimately offers a more compact storage option, in my opinion.

Pros

Cons
  • Lots of stuff
