I really like these lights. Very easy to install and casts a bright wide beam of light on the countertop. When I saw these lights I was intimidated by the under counter LED hardwiring project I wanted to implement. The batteries last quite a long time depending on how often the light is activated by movement. The only downside I have with these lamps is the light sensor. It could be a bit more sensitive to the amount of light it takes to complete the "ON" circle. The motion sensor is quite sensitive and even comes with a shield that can be placed over the sensor to restrict the range of motion to a smaller area. There are enough shady spots in the kitchen and the light is also on during the day. But that doesn't bother me much. The light works great at night. No wiring, no switches, no mess or fuss. Simply attach the mount with a self-adhesive pad or 2 screws, insert 4 AA batteries, slide your device into the mount and voila! DONE! I even bought Mr. Beams for the hallway and I love them too!
