I have been using cough drops at night not knowing there is a product specifically designed for dry mouth that comes with certain medications. These drops really help and do not contribute to the development of tooth decay. In fact, they help with the healthy bacteria you should have in your mouth. I only wish I could find them locally. But I can't, so I'll keep buying online.

These ACT Dry Mouth tablets are excellent for relieving dry mouth. Especially if you snore or have CPAP, you should try these. There's also a mint flavor, but I prefer honey-lemon. They seem to last a few hours in my sleep and I haven't gagged and swallowed them in my sleep yet. I make sure they are in the front near the roof of the mouth so they stay in place during sleep. If you can tolerate it, try between the gum and the cheek. Definitely moisturizes the mouth.

I'm undergoing chemotherapy and throat radiation (hooray!) My mouth is terribly dry but also has ulcers and is sensitive to radiation. So EVERY mint accelerates and wow. That hurts. This is great because they are long lasting against dry mouth and don't taste like MINT, just a nice soft lemon. If you want some mint, their other flavor is good too. It's not *too* minty.

So I had to go through chemo this year and got this thing when my mouth was really dry. I don't know if I've tried every dry mouth remedy, but I've tried MANY. I use this product several times a day and put it in my mouth at night to help me sleep. I'm really thankful that honey lemon flavor is available in a dry mouth product.
