I'm new to cast iron and still have a lot to learn but this post scraper is amazing. I used it to clean my pots before seasoning and now I use it to clean them after use. We roasted chicken in a large skillet last night and once it cooled, this scrubber made cleaning up a breeze. Searching for cast iron purchases and maintenance has come up with this more than once and I'm so glad I bought it. The price is great. I do mail and I know I can't do it cheaply. I might even buy one for my mom to clean her cast iron. I would recommend this scrubber to anyone who has a sponge. It's easier to clean and disinfect and should last for years. Excellent purchase.
