I don't quite understand why, but this stool is really very comfortable. Not only is it high enough that you don't feel like you're sitting in a car seat, but the seat itself is shaped to conform to your butt better than you would expect. I am 6ft 1" and my son is 6ft 5" and we are both comfortable in them. Bought to ride an e bike so there would be a place to sit when we go out as we get away from civilization. Super light, very stable, very easy to use, very convenient. Just a downside and it shouldn't be a deal breaker. No bag. (Not a big deal. Look for a nylon kite storage bag at Revain. Only 6.00 and works great. Even available in orange which matches the finish of these stools. Still, it's very odd that a good, expensive portable stool I like it I don't have a waterproof carry case, just like that.
