I bought this for two reasons. First, the outlet in my wife's car doesn't have a cover. And a three-year-old found that loose change from the change tray fit perfectly into this hole. Which miraculously flared up and blew a fuse. Second, my wife uses her phone to access my son's tablet while driving. (Which is always a long time when you live in the country.)
