first let me say that i have 3 feet of hair. I've had long hair for almost 20 years. Only my ears are keen to hear the squeak of drains when I enter a bathroom. Hair care in all forms is a highly developed skill in my home, along with vacuum brush care. And I'm an expert at cleaning hairbrushes. Still, every hair catcher has to do its job or it'll be thrown out immediately because I never want to become an expert at clearing clogged drains. A house. The design seems to work very well. After every shower or bath I have to clean both the outside around the flatter edge and the inside as the hairs get caught and curl up a bit before trying to go down the drain so quite a bit of my hair gets caught, about just like my previous catcher. Also, they're very easy to keep clean with a little vinegar and water, so hopefully they'll last a lot longer than the cheap white ones you can buy at any grocery store.
