Review on JBL Go 3: Portable Speaker With Bluetooth Portable Audio & Video for Portable Speakers & Docks by Liang Chi-en ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A normal product, but they wanted more for the money.

A very controversial generational change Go. With active use (in nature, in companies, etc.), the column must be immediately married to an external battery - they will be inseparable all their lives. Go 2 owners should upgrade just for a little better sound quality, resigned to the loss of volume and autonomy. With its pros. The bass is good. The sound is pretty clear with no clutter. The view, in principle, is interesting and functionally shockproof, but I think it will be easily soiled in terms of dusting. Standing does not go (unlike the previous version). Type-C connector. Cons: Price 2.6 seems not very high only before comparison with 1.5 the previous version, which in many ways is better than the new one (see below). Autonomy is simply shameful. The time at the maximum is 2:06, and the previous already worn-out Go2 has 2:53 - this is how much Go3 can play only at 60%. The declared 5 hours can and will turn out, but only at a volume below 50%. And these 50% will sound much quieter than the 50% of the previous Go 2, although both speakers are 100% exactly the same in volume - the generation change and the increase in size on volume and autonomy for some reason only negatively affected. The built-in microphone (not needed by anyone) and AUX disappeared (but this is a loss - the sound over the cable is noticeably better than over BT). You can’t get a stereo pair either on your own or through the application, but Go2 at least had AUX and two speakers perfectly clung to the laptop with a bifurcated cable.
