I have had this product for about a month now. When I first got it, it didn't work. I contacted monbaby and they shipped me a new one insanely fast that worked perfectly. They also sent me a free monbaby base so my friend can use the app at the same time. I wanted this mainly for respiratory function and temperature - obviously as a concerned first time mom I want to make sure my little one doesn't overheat and stop breathing (he's only 1 month old and in a bassinet that can't be placed on his stomach - so I'm not worried about rolling onto my stomach). It's fairly accurate, although it keeps telling me it's on my tummy when I go to burp it - you can choose which alerts you want to see on your phone so you don't get too annoyed by the unnecessary ones. The ambient temperature is great to ensure he doesn't get too hot or too cold. We live on a mountain top and he had it in the middle of winter and our heat gets either too warm or too cold. Instead of waking him up by putting my hand on his chest, I can just open the app and make sure the ambient temperature is between 85 and 95 and go back to sleep. One issue I have with the product is that you literally have to be right next to them with your phone. Even then, it can still shut down randomly. It would be nice to let him nap at some point and I could do chores and check my phone for breath alerts so I know he's fine without stopping every 2-3 minutes. Other than that, it's a worthwhile purchase. Update: I had two of these and they won't work after such a long time. Batteries will not connect or eventually disconnect. If I hadn't spent $80 on it I wouldn't have been so upset, but here we are. We will come back for a refund.
