If you spend that much buy something else

I have had this product for about a month now. When I first got it, it didn't work. I contacted monbaby and they shipped me a new one insanely fast that worked perfectly. They also sent me a free monbaby base so my friend can use the app at the same time. I wanted this mainly for respiratory function and temperature - obviously as a concerned first time mom I want to make sure my little one doesn't overheat and stop breathing (he's only 1 month old and in a bassinet that can't be placed on his…

Good concept, flawless execution

Glad you asked. Battery life is terrible! The included battery was enough for two uses! I'm already on the second battery. I've been using it for maybe two nights and the app already says "quite". It was easy to set up, but the distance it achieves is poor, to say the least. I live in a two-room apartment and it doesn't even go from the children's room to me! Cool product from the coolest company!

My wife and I bought this when we had a newborn in February and we didn't really know what to expect from it but we were optimistic it would let us know when the baby turns or stands still breathing. So far it has been a super positive experience. We are grateful to MonBaby for helping us learn more about the product and providing us with a ring holder for a device that we accidentally broke once or twice. Keeps turning off, doesn't work with Snoo, not as informative as Sense-U-Baby

We tested two award-winning baby breath monitors for the same price: Monbaby and Sense-U Infant. We'll probably bring Monbaby back. Three reasons: 1) The device keeps disconnecting from our phones. At first I thought it was my phone so I deleted it and asked my husband to install the app on his iPhone. The same thing happened. We have to watch the monitor. 2) We have a snoo bed. It's a robotic crib that swings from side to side and acts as a kind of "night babysitter". This was necessary for us

The idea is good but the connection to the app needs to be improved when used to protect a child.

Connection: Only works well with a Bluetooth connection with 1 mobile device within 7-10 feet. another 20 dollars. Supposedly you can use an Android mobile device as a bridge and download the Monbridge app to use that mobile device as a wifi bridge only (it didn't work for us after a few tries with the new Kindle Fire we just bought) . Over WiFi, it takes a long time to install and connect EVERY time you open the app. The connection will take AT LEAST, if not more, 1 minute. And it's finicky…
