These 15w/100 bulbs are much brighter than white 9w/60 bulbs. Those cream colored 9ws gave me a headache. So far 15w/100 looks ok. Like a kid growing up in my parents house, no matter what I buy, none of it beats a lightbulb with a wire filament heated to a very bright glow. It seems that houses were brighter in the 1970-90s than they are today. Incandescent bulbs average $4 each, but at 60 watts $5 for 75 watts. The price fluctuates constantly. I need 18 to replace everything. 🙄So, yes, they are doing their job.
