I was delighted to find glass jars with handles. After returning from a trip I put both containers in the dishwasher on the top shelf. I also placed a white mug next to one of the containers on the top shelf. The 11.4-cup glass jar instantly shattered like a mini-dishwasher explosion. I couldn't believe what I saw. It took me a long time to clean the dishwasher and the floor. I haven't even used a glass container yet. Luckily there was no food in the container. I hand washed the 15 cup glass container and I'm not sure I should leave it. That's awful.
