Like my size 23 Grex nailer, this size 18 nailer works perfectly. It definitely costs more than most other nailers, but it makes up for it in performance. I've driven a few thousand nails in it and only pushed it in once, and that's just because I caught a metal corner of the drywall. I've used it to install baseboards and find it very satisfying to cover up pin-sized holes made with nails. I really like that the hammer doesn't hit the material and just leaves a nail-sized hole. It's lightweight and feels like it's built to last. Switching from sequential to rapid fire is as easy as moving a small lever. Oh, and the locking feature is amazing (very few guns have them, and if you're like me you'll shoot half a dozen holes before you realize you don't have nails). If you want a quality nailer, pay the extra $100 and buy this one. You will be very glad you did.
