I originally bought three different colors. Each comes with its own remote control. I bought 99ft soft white and 33ft purple and orange. I love them so much, I have more on the way! I've labeled each remote to make it easier to turn them off in the morning: purple, W 100, and orange TR "W 100" stands for "white, 100". Cord" (so I know it's front tree) and "Orange TR" stands for Texas Ranger. While they can be programmed to turn off after six hours, I like to leave them on all night so that everyone can enjoy them including our police and sheriff helicopters and military and airliners that fly at night! Batteries, and the 33-string requires three AA batteries (not included) I've had them for the last 3 nights turned it on at 12pm every night and the batteries are still working. Batteries are included with the remote controls but not for the lights.I recommend buying AA batteries in bulk as once you have a few of these lights on you will want You MORE!Would like to see ONE remote control to program all the different lighting systems.At first I didn't understand the need for a remote control but now I do I understand!
