I bought two threads for Halloween. I put them on last night and the timers worked and they looked beautiful. That's exactly what I wanted. Today I decided to reset the timer a bit earlier. Much to my disappointment, the timer stopped working on one strand. I even tried removing the batteries to "reset" it but nothing. If the timer is important to you, you might want to reconsider these lights. If you don't bother with the timer, they are really beautiful.

When we were decorating for Halloween I bought (2) these purple ones. It is easy to decorate copper with it. Set to a mode. Every time I turned the light off and on again the next night, the same light pattern stayed and turned back on immediately. I turned off the light as I went to bed. So you will work about 4 hours a day for about 3 weeks. Batteries never had to be changed. and the hulls were indeed watertight. Loved this product. The remote controls worked great.

I ordered these for outdoor use for Halloween and really liked their brightness and the different pattern settings. The battery compartment is sealed. Remote Idea is a great feature to easily change brightness and flash patterns. And one remote worked for all 4 kits I bought that I liked. Unfortunately, you have to be that close to the lights for the remote to work, and you could just press the buttons on the battery compartment. If the remote had more range I would give it 5 stars.

I originally bought three different colors. Each comes with its own remote control. I bought 99ft soft white and 33ft purple and orange. I love them so much, I have more on the way! I've labeled each remote to make it easier to turn them off in the morning: purple, W 100, and orange TR "W 100" stands for "white, 100".
