I ordered them for Halloween outdoor use and I really liked their brightness and different pattern settings. The battery compartment is sealed. Remote Idea is a great feature to easily change brightness and flash patterns. And one remote worked for all 4 kits I bought that I liked. Unfortunately, you have to be that close to the lights for the remote to work, and you could just press the buttons on the battery compartment. If the remote had more range I would give it 5 stars.
