I bought this product because I heard that a flat iron can cover the back. I've struggled with this heck my whole life. Using a flat iron, I pulled the hair straight up and over the parting and let it cool. Then of course I dropped it. It worked great! I love its size! A note! It has handles so you need to make sure not to tie all the knots in your hair before using it. Your hair should be very straight.
