These straps are great for attaching toys to high chairs, car seats, etc. when you don't want them scattered all over the place. The colors are fun, my 1 year old loves them and the length is just right: not too long so toys dangle too much and not too short so she can play however she wants. As my daughter gets older she gets better at pulling until the latches open, but that's to be expected. Any "harder" and it would be very difficult to open and close the band when moved. I think it's a good balance. Oddly enough, I often see my daughter playing with just an empty strap, so I guess they make a good toy of their own in a pinch!
