Review on Panasonic SL-CT520 Portable CD/MP3 Player with Enhanced D.Sound Technology for Superior Audio Experience by Marc Tufa

great sound and great price

I've been thinking about buying an iPod for a while, but then I thought about taking music outside on my portable devices and found that I don't always have to carry all my music around with me. Also, I think it's better to have a cheap device with good sound if I pick it up and maybe lose it, break it or something. I use public transport a lot and this CD player is just perfect for the job. It's very light, very thin and really not too big; and although it will have trouble fitting in any pocket considering it has to be larger than the CD itself, I can carry it in my backpack and the remote control is fine for that. I also have a few MP3 CDs that I've made and I can get all the music I really want to hear and nothing else. On the other hand, it's much better than a flash player if you don't take it to the gym because you can choose what to play in it without having to connect it to your computer and download songs to it if you have your own MP3 . previously recorded CDs. This is especially noticeable when I'm listening to music in bed before bed. I bought these with the Sony EX51 in ear headphones and they are just perfect for this CD player. The sound quality is excellent, at first it was unusual to get used to the headphones, but then they became perfect. The sound of this CD player is much better than my sister's Sony CD player, it never cuts out and the battery life is great. In summary, for a quarter of the cost of the iPod, I got what I believe to be a much better and more versatile portable audio device. Oh, by the way, the remote's display doesn't show ID3 tag information for MP3 files, so if that's what you need, this CD player might not be for you.

Pros
  • Personal CD Player with Anti-Skip and Wired Remote Control
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
